We can only hope. Innocence seems to be something as elusive and mythical as purity these days. Maybe they are one and the same. Maybe they are mutually exclusive. Maybe they are just lies. Tom and Thom (my name) aren’t sure tonight.
Cheers.
I watch this every couple weeks to help keep things in line. Cheers.
A friend of mine – http://www.myspace.com/ladylambthebeekeeper – also covers this song. Beautiful, beautiful song. I can’t imagine trying to perform it. Watching Anne try as hard as she can to keep it together is hard enough. Cheers.

There are too few instances of purity. I think of purity as something that gives you goosebumps and shivers any and every time you encounter it. Julian Koster said that those are the moments when you are seeing one’s soul. The thing that is screaming to be let out into the world. He believed that we all have something screaming inside of us. I’m not sure if I believe that; but, if it is true, more people need to let it out.
I think that that idea – purity/revealing one’s soul – will be something I will keep coming back to. More examples.
Here’s one of my favorites. It is the Senate hearing deciding whether or not Nixon’s proposed budget cuts for Public Broadcasting would take effect. I give you Fred Rogers. Enjoy.
